Bill Casey is a Legal Director with Marshall Denning, focusing on delivering innovative and efficient contracting solutions to its clients. He leads a team of US transactional lawyers and is an expert in technology transactions, including complex outsourcing services agreements.

Before joining Marshall Denning, Bill was a Legal Director with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (“HPE”) and supported its Enterprise Services business for over twelve years. In this role, Bill drafted and negotiated complex technology transactions, including outsourcing services contracts with enterprise customers, license agreements with software vendors, and strategic partnership agreements. He acted as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team that provided information technology services to customers in the automotive, industrial, communications, media, and entertainment industries.

Prior to joining HPE, Bill was Associate Counsel at MCI Telecommunications where he negotiated telecommunications services agreement with large global customers. Before that position, Bill was an associate at the law firm of Hopkins & Sutter (which subsequently merged with Foley & Lardner) where he handled a broad variety of litigation and regulatory matters.

Bill earned a J.D. degree from the University of Michigan, an M.S. degree in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University, and a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. Bill also is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP-US).
